What’s the biggest misconception people have about your position?

That I just sit at the desk and answer the phone all day. Every day for me looks different but usually entails lots of running around to keep the studio clean and organized, handling orders, creating graphics for around the studio, event planning, and recently supporting the marketing team with our social media! Oh and Excel, LOTS of Excel.

What fashion trend should make a comeback?

I think we live in a very interesting time where everything is “in fashion”. Walking through the city you see people wearing every style imaginable. It’s a beautiful mix of self-expression. If I had to pick a favorite time in fashion history though, it would be French Baroque/Rococo. SO EXTRA!

What fictional place would you most like to visit?

The Undying Lands in LOTR. Or really, any of the elven kingdoms in LOTR. They look so beautiful and peaceful.

What is your favorite part of your job and how does it impact the Straub mission of making Damn Good Content?

I love being able to support the crew behind the scenes and it gives me the opportunity to learn more about our process, from concept to completion. I have loved photography since I was 14, so working in a professional studio in New York City has always been my dream.

Anything else everyone should know about you?

I am a hardcore hobbyist- sewing, painting, knit & crochet. Name it and I’ve probably tried it. I’ve stuck with sewing the longest though, I love to design and make my own clothing and I think being able to mend is a skill everyone should have, it’s so convenient!
