What’s the biggest misconception people have about your position?

Most people think HR is only focused on paperwork and administrative work for a company, but it plays a strategic role in many different aspects of the company. We wear multiple hats when needed and can be very adaptable to situations as they come. There is a lot of work done behind the scenes to help keep everything running smoothly. It’s never a normal workday for us but that keeps the experience not only interesting but knowledgeable as well.

What fashion trend should make a comeback?

90’s Baggy Jeans even though I think this is coming back already slowly.

What fictional place would you most like to visit?

Hogwarts School from Harry Potter. It feels so magical.

What is your favorite part of your job and how does it impact the Straub mission of making Damn Good Content?

My favorite part of my job is getting to work with smart colleagues every day. It keeps me on my toes and learning from others is the best experience I can get. It helps being collaborative and working together helps everyone do their jobs at high levels to produce great work!

Anything else everyone should know about you? 

I’m very funny and love making those around me laugh. I try not to take life too seriously and remind myself that having fun is good.
