What studio do you work out of?

Portland

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a ____ when I grew up.

A "Pet Doctor" or Veterinarian

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is ____.

Recently I had seen a much younger friend of mine who was struggling with stuffing all of his emotions and struggling with recent depression, and I encouraged him to instead embrace those emotions, and him being himself was the greatest thing ever and to not suffer that side of him down, things like that. Recently ran into him again, and he ended up helping me by doing the same for me and it was life changing!

What’s the biggest misconception people have about your position?

I would say that I may not have much of a vital role in the company, when in reality it really counts in a lot of ways. I am the first person people come into contact here at Straub, and that matters and I don’t take such a role lightly. In addition, I do a lot of behind the scenes work tasks that not a lot of people may know about for the company. When one role in a company is gone or not functioning properly, the company as a whole suffers in small or big ways, so we all matter here!

What fashion trend should make a comeback?

70’s glam rock/goth makeup look (imagine Debbie Harry) and bright shades of lipstick.

What fictional place would you most like to visit?

The south of France.

What is your favorite part of your job and how does it impact the Straub mission of making Damn Good Content?

I would say my favorite part of my job is being so well respected by other people, the environment, and helping out with client assistance and directing models.

Anything else everyone should know about you?

That deep down I’m like a little kid and have a huge sense of humor. If I could be a kid again every day (and everyone else too) and therefore  people were more honest, playful, and laid back, that would be greatest day ever in my book. I also am a portrait artist (gauche watercolors), and I quilt too!
